When the new iPhone 6 Plus came on the scene I knew I just had to have one, even though they were the bigfoot of the tech world and nearly impossible to find. But even before I had my hands on the phone itself I was looking for a case to protect it. With the big deal that was made out of #bendgate I knew that I couldn’t risk one second of having outside a reliable case. Luckily, my husband and I received the Ballistic Tough Jacket Maxx and Urbanite iPhone 6 Plus cases to review.
Thankfully the STM Grip 2 is a far cry from most iPad cases. Instead of adding thick layers of padding and completely bulking the iPad up, it takes a more streamlined approach and provides slim and functional protection. It’s grippy texture and kickstand are probably the best features. It feels nice in your hands and you can prop it up with a each on most surfaces.
Buzzy is a small vibrating device that looks like a bumble bee and is paired along with a small wing-shaped ice pack. Used together, the ice pack and the vibrations work together to provide pain management for needle sticks. At first I thought what Amy was describing was merely distraction, but it’s actually some pretty deep scientific stuff that is backed by clinical trials and years and years of research (and a ton of happy customer testimonials).
Even though there are more women in technology than ever before, the annual CES conference has not caught up. We need to ensure that there is equal representation at this huge tech showcase. And that the ladies who are on the floor are knowledgeable and informed about the products and services they are representing.
