On October 1st, 2017, the country was devastated when an active shooter sprayed down bullets into a crowd of thousands killing 59 people and injuring over 500, making it the largest U.S. mass shooting in the modern history. News authorities are dubbing this even the Las Vegas Massacre. Local hospitals including were sent hundreds of patients in what one surgeon described as a “war zone.”
