One of the coolest perks of being a blogger is being invited to exclusive events, tours, and parties. Last weekend my family and I were invited to Six Flags Over Georgia to hang out with Stacy Debroff (who is like totally internet famous) of Mom Central Consulting and meet some other really cool Atlanta mom bloggers. This was all made possible by Wet Ones.

The day started out with a meet and great of the other mom bloggers, photo ops with the Looney Toons characters, and an intro to the events that we would participate in. We also had the opportunity to meet the park director and learn some facts about the park.

imageWe were invited to tour the park and got extra special celebrity-esque treatment as we rode the train and the famous Monster Mansion ride. They even made a super secret stop at a souvenir booth and gave us all super hero capes! We all felt like kids in a candy store as we bounced up and down the hills with our shiny capes on our back.

After a busy and fun morning I’m sure I can speak for us all when I say that we were eager to eat! After putting our hands of hand rails and handles all day I was certainly glad we had Wet Ones available to get our hands germ free before we ate.

We were treated to pizza and chicken fingers at a the Carrot Club which was a private club type location that looked that it popped right out of a cartoon. It was then that we go our great gift bags filled with unlimited refill Six Flags glasses, several packs of Wet Ones, a cool water bottle, so sidewalk chalk for the kids, a gift card and few other goodies.

We sat down and ate with our families and got to network with each other and discuss Atlanta events for bloggers. We also go some one-on-one time with the characters for some great photo ops!

After we wrapped up lunch we headed over to the Whistle Stop and the kids played on the beautiful park. We were treated to popcorn and cotton candy. Both of these things just covered my little ones fingers and again I was glad to have Wet Ones to help me combat the sticky situation he was in.

We rode a couple more rides like Thunder River and my son was beat! We had been looking forward to going to Six Flags for a while and were super excited to be able to have this opportunity and to be able to share our fun with all of you!image

imageIf you don’t already know, Wet Ones kill 99.99% of germs and bacteria and are safe to use on your hands. When soap and water aren’t available these bad boys are the next best thing. They are just as effective as an of the hand sanitizer gels but do a much better job of getting off the dirt, grime, and grit that can accumulate on a preschoolers or child-like husband’s hands. Oh and here’s a bonus, they don’t dry your hands out like alcohol sanitizers. As a nurse, I know that dry-hand feeling all too well!
