AplhaTots is a colorful and fun educational adventure on the iPad.
Out of all the iPad Apps I have downloaded, I have to say that this is one of my favorites. Each letter teachers your child the sounds and a word associated with the letter while giving them a fun game to play as well. My little boy especially loves the letter N, for nibble, which allows him to “nom nom nom” up a gingerbread cookie with his index finger. It’s charming and he loves it.

What I really liked about the App is the involvement it encourages from my son. Most of the toddler Apps I’ve used are either too complicated or are just flash cards. While there is HUGE benefit to flash cards, the games and finger interaction that AlphaTots promotes is far more entertaining.
If you’re looking for an App to educate and potentially cause fits of laughter from your little one, AlphaTots is worth a download!

Agreed! We have a ton of apps for our toddler. He gets bored with them very easily and needs a variety to keep him entertained. We are always on the lookout for more educational tools for him and ipad apps are our favorite method!
