My little one is still small. Just turned 2 last week, actually. But we have already ran into circumstances where the Sippy cups and other doodads that we carry around can be confused

with the doodads and Sippy cups of the other toddlers.
I guess I could go around putting stickers on everything. Or I could install a retractable sharpie into the tip of one of my fingers, but that really would be an inconvenient surgery that I would prefer to forgo, if it can be helped at all.
Instead lets look for a product that will help me identify my kid’s things, and hopefully help get them back to me if they grow legs and run away.
Zippies does just that.
Because they are “Pals that hang around”, they add personalization in a fun, reusable (and therefore eco-friendly!) identification to your kids things.I can’t begin to imagine how helpful these will be when Ty is participating in sports, going to school, and other activity where there are masses of little kids with grubby little germy fingers. Not that I don’t think Ty has grubby little germy fingers, but he’s mind, so his grubby germs are cuter than all the other grubby germs! Of course, I know your kids germs are cuter than my kids germs too. ![]()

The first series comes with 10 charming, and quirky little characters that are both fun and useful. And I’m sure it wasn’t their original intent, but I’m thinking they’d make a fantastic chew toy. Not saying I still let Ty gum everything in sight, but occasionally he does still slip something in that mouth and slobber all over it… that was the first place the Zippies went. So although I cannot vouch for their chemical content and safety hoohaness, I can tell you that Ty certainly thought they were worth of a nibble.

I had intended to use these as party favors at my son’s 2nd birthday, but alas, I only had 10, and there were 20 kids, and I’ll be danged if I was going to fussy pick which kid got the cool favor. Too bad though, because they would have been an awesome addition to the water bottle favors that they got at the House of Bounce that is Kangaroo Jake’s.
So if you’re looking for a cool item to add to a party pack, I would definitely throw a Zippie in there. The kids and parents both will LOVE you for them.
Apparently I am not alone in this opinion, as there is a whole page of rave reviews about them .

Dude, I’m finally going to tell you… your kid has a huge mouth for a little bugger his size.
Also, I’m wondering… do you think I can attach these to Squirt in case he gets away from me? You’ve met him, you know what a slippery thing he is.
And I just saw that child ID security thing, so apparently you can actually attach them to your kid. So nevermind about that.
