I was asked by the folks at NursingsSchools.net to share with you 50 Awesomely Educational Podcasts for Nurses and since it didn’t look like a total waste of time, I decided to happily oblige.
These little tidbits of information may help to quench your thirst if you desire for nursing knowledge without requiring you to take the plunge back into school. Heck, if you’re a nerd like me, you may just enjoy this kind of stuff anyways. The quest for knowledge is an eternal one, so I am always game for an additional resource to add to my random-facts-that-may-actually-be-useful arsenal.
They even took the time to separate them into digestible categories including:
- Health News and Research
- Nursing Specific
- Patient Care, Diseases and Conditions
- Reference and Education
If you’re anything like me, you’re attention span isn’t much longer than a goldfishes memory, so being able to get right down to what you want or need is especially important! I cannot tell you how long it actually takes me to read a research paper because of it. You’d think it would be the other way around. But nope, my mind looses focus and I am forced to re-read content multiple times to retain the pertinent information… but I digress.
