I will also be receiving the raddest costume ever to review. Its an Astronaut and I have never seen a costume look so authentic! I also cannot wait to see how awesome my little boy looks in it. I just downloaded the app today. Since I’ll be working this evening, I won’t have the opportunity to have my little one play with it until tomorrow, and I would like to see him interact with it a few times before I say how exactly I feel about it. I should be receiving the costume sometimes next week.
It is certainly nice to have a forum to share my opinions with the world. I always have this silly little expectation that people care what I have say, at least I some how get to live this illusion to a slight reality here on the internet. One of the many reasons I love technology is the ability to connect with others who share my interests and have a desire to know the things I have to say.
For 2 years I worked with 5 women who told me on almost a daily basis that they did not want to hear anything I had to say. They did not want to be my friend. They would prefer I not speak to them unless required. They did not want to work as a team. They took every opportunity to make me feel as insignificant and stupid as they possibly could.
Things have finally changed. My new set of coworkers find me witty and interesting and are always asking my opinion. They laugh at my anecdotes and share theirs with me. We help each other. We a there for each other and share not only our work but our joys and struggles of our lives together. Its nice to feel like I finally belong.
Now I am taking this newfound confidence and sharing it in the blogosphere as well and any if you choose to join me, there may be well be some sweet rewards for you in the future!
