Billion things need to accomplish

IMG_5231

I have about a billion things I need to accomplish today.

  1. Taking the baby gear to the consignment shop
  2. shopping at Kroger (there is a great deal on post cereal this week!)
  3. shopping at cvs (more diaper deals to be had)
  4. Finishing up laundry
  5. cleaning out my car
  6. hanging and putting away Ty’s clothes
  7. washing the sheets

I’m sure there are at least a few more things that really do need to make an appearance on that list, but that’s all for now. The living room is full of baby stuff. I think I got a total of 5 bouncers, once all was said and done. He used 1 of them about 4 times for about 5 minutes at a time. My son was not easily fooled by the lull and vibration of these contraptions. He knew he was getting the shaft and that the warm and brace of a mommy or daddy was only a sniffle or coo away.

Kid has always been too smart for his own good.

I’m watching him crawl excitedly across the bed this morning. He is so eager to face the day. Laying on the bed he often looks over the edge. He sits and waits peering in the floor. He waits for the perfect opportunity to throw his pacifier in the floor so that the roomba might sweep it under the bed. Its all a fun game to him. How many times can it be thrown in the floor before mommy will stop picking it up? Usually 3, but sometimes more or less, so might as well try to see what today’s magic number is right?

He has gotten pretty good about taking naps lately. Only thing is that he wakes at the drop of a dime, so my bedroom is completely off limits while he is napping. It makes getting things done a little inconvenient. But he will sleep a good 2 hours if we is completely undisturbed.

Right now the munchkin and I are watching Chowder (one of the oddest shows  I have ever seen) and trying to  convince Ty that now would be a great time for a nap. I then will attempt to get up, go to turn off the TV (that somehow he went in there and turned on), put a load of laundry in and perhaps start loading up the car.

Full day today. Work tomorrow. 2 days of work and then off again. I am very thankful for that.
